Description of goods and/or services

Icewine Africa is a business in the liquor industry that distributes retail & wholesale Icewine liquor & related products. Icewine Africa takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 days and delivery confirmed by way email. (for e.g. booking number / booking voucher etc. and must mention the use of courier and/or postal services and associated costs, if applicable.) When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website. A delivery charge will be calculated after charged to the bill per web order.

Return and Refunds policy

The provision of Icewines and services by Icewine Africa is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Icewine Africa will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 0% administration fee. We are unable to offer refunds, replacements or exchanges on any opened or used goods. In addition to our returns policy you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days from the date of receipt of the goods if you send us a notice of cancellation in writing and return the goods to us in their original, unopened and unused condition. Damaged goods: Any goods with damaged labels or original packaging cannot be returned for credit.

Payment options accepted

All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR). We only accept credit card payments via the website and on request will supply our Icewine Africa bank details should you wish to make payment via EFT or Direct Deposit.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Icewine Africa  via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy. Icewine Africa/ Merchant Outlet   do not have access to credit details.

Customer Privacy policy

Icewine Africa shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569. Customer details will be stored by Icewine Africa separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

Variation

Icewine Africa may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice. This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Icewine Africa chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

No sales to under 18’s

Icewine Africa will not sell any alcoholic product to any person under the age of 18. We reserve the right to request proof of age (Identity document / passport).

Errors

Icewine Africa shall take all reasonable measures to accurately reflect the description, availability, purchase price and delivery charges of Products on the Website. Should however there be any errors, we shall not be liable for any loss, claim or expense relating to a transaction based on any error, other than to refund you for any amount already paid. Icewine Africa shall not be bound by any incorrect information regarding our products displayed on any third party websites.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
